All IP that is considered must have support from corporate, university or research laboratory partners and pass scrutiny from leading scientists and a proprietary IP screening technology that is tied to all major patent offices worldwide.
Ramp's initial portfolio originated from military programs, telecommunications, acoustics, global positioning satellite (GPS) and energy. This segment of the portfolio is balanced between commercial products that are equity supported and early-stage patent portfolios. The team will continue to build the portfolio through direct investments and equity gained through the exchange of its expertise. The portfolio focus includes; advanced computing, communications, energy and nano-science.
